Contract Agreement- Booking
After having ascertained that we can offer you the property for the desired time slot, send us either by fax, post or e-mail your reservation order. We will then reserve the object for the chosen period and will send you a booking confirmation in which we request the payment of 100,- Euro deposit. The remaining sum is to be paid to the owner on arrival.
2. Liability and Complaints
The responsibility of the tenant is to report any faults or defects, either of house or furnishings, to the owner immediately or within 24 hours so that they can be quickly put right. Later complaints cannot be considered. The tenant has the duty to treat house and furnishings with care. Any damage to the property or furnishings caused by him is to be reported to the owner. The cost for repair or replacement is to be carried by the tenant. It is your responsibility to look after your children and parental guidance is advised whilst children explore Finca El Quinto.
3. Cancellation
By a withdrawal from the contract a cancellation fee will be charged. Up to 30 days before tenancy: 40% of the total sum, 29 up to 1 day before tenancy: 80% of the total sum and by non- appearance or last minute cancellation: 100% of the total sum. A cancellation must be done in writing and the date of its delivery will be decisive. We recommend taking out an insurance covering these eventualities. The tenant can withdraw from the contract on providing a substitute taking over the contract under the same conditions. A change of property or the duration of the stay can only be changed by cancellation subject to the above conditions.
4. Place of Fulfilling Contract and Court of Jurisdiction
Claims for compensation are to be directed to the owner. The place where the contract has been fulfilled and the court of jurisdiction is the place of residence of the owner (i.e. Tenerife).
